Balancing Humors

October 20, 2005 Balancing Humors By Stan Dyer Our society is well advanced. We can hold powerful computers in the palms of our hands, transmit thoughts and pictures across the airwaves without wires, and survive major surgery with scarcely a mark. Some ancient cultures believed themselves advanced too. It is remarkable to note how long ancient ideas persisted, and how some of those concepts survive today in variant forms. The area of health care is a good example. It?s peculiar, but even after over 2,000 years of advancements, many archaic ideas are still around and we can find ourselves still balancing our humors.
